The radio silence on Owen's Twitter, "Forbidden" error on OwenPallett.com, and general silence here still mean my excitement is mounting.... (Tempered only by the insane amount of spam eating this board.)
Is anyone else planning on going to the Calgary Concert at the end of this month? I am so hype!!!

I swear to god I check Domino Records, the Facebook, Alpentine, and this forum at least once a day. I bought Good Home & Poos Clouds on CD (again) since they disappeared from Apple Music (and I'm too anxious for reissue news). Maybe I'll start walking to Calgary now (from Portland Oregon USA). x

Can someone please explain to me what's the deal with Island? On Genius it's listed as Owen's newest album and has a release date of March 8, 2018. I've never once heard of this at all. none of Owen's pages even mention a new album. I am so confused. I am a huge fan of his and I have no idea how this slipped by.

Owen’s working on it at the moment but it’s not been released yet, I’m not sure where the date on Genius came from. What I suspect is maybe somebody added the lyrics to Genius after Owen posted them on here and just picked a random date since the release date hadn’t been confirmed! He’s been playing some of the new songs live over the past few years but there’s still no word about when the album will be out (other than the update from tangowhiskeyman above).
