I've just discovered via twitter that DJ Rashad remixed "Song for Five and Six" shortly before he died. Is there any chance this remix will be released? I really love his music so the idea of this even existing is mind-blowing to me.

Well, it looks like the remix was just released! I should be more patient. I like the Ada remix the most at the moment, but all 3 are good. I could have ripped them from Soundcloud but decide to be honest and purchased a Flac version to get the full experience. I still think my favorite re-mixer is Simon Bookish.. his version of Keep The Dog Quiet is magnificent. |

so far I'm really enjoying the Cyclist remix. out of the three, I find it utilises the stems in the most abstract way, while still maintaining a sense of integrity to the original version. I'm not going to hide my disappointment that the Rashad/Spinn track only made use of the keyboard loop... there's so much more to work with, I feel like it's a missed opportunity.

Revising a bunch of the songs, I was disappointed with the lyrics on some of them and want to repair them. But it's written! and demo'd. I will be doing beds soon, still working on the arrangements and structure of the thing
