Can we talk about the resemblance between the album version of In Conflict and Dungeon Theme from Legend of Zelda? This album is such a gift, Owen.

I really hope we'll get another version of The Secret Seven; it's my favorite song right now agreed, that and I Am Not Afraid. absolutely love the Studio Q version of I Am Not Afraid... tears were flowing. I've been listening to the album attentively every night and it really helps me release the burdens of the day. I'm in complete adoration. considering the number of times I've listened to the live versions in the past two years (or however long it's been), I'm not too worried about over-listening anytime soon, haha.

I was just thinking. I'd totally buy a massive poster of the album art (with obstructions of course), frame it, and hang it up in my place. Just sayin'

Oh my god, album is now streaming. I'm so happy. I'm a little sad Bridle & Bit is not part of the stream, but I suppose I won't have to wait much longer to hear it too!

Does anyone else find it odd that track 4 is titled "song 4, 5, & 6" and the following track is titled "The secret seven"?

I think it might be intentional. Something to do with numerology, maybe?

Chorale is also in 7/8 or 7/4... ~spooky~. seven is also widely considered to be one of the most sacred and 'whole' numbers.

I was just listening to the Glasslands recording of In Conflict and I think Owen switched to the wrong keyboard patch after "for your benefit, young man, except this" where it's supposed to be that tambourine sound. But the sound that came out seemed actually quite fitting. Cool screw up!

Delivered this morning all the way from Japan.. so I can confirm that the 2 bonus tracks on the Japanese version of In Conflict are I'm Not Afraid [Piano Ballad Version] and Secret Seven [Piano Ballad Version] and as you can imagine they are both excellent (listen to the Studio Q version of I'm Not Afraid).
It would be nice to see these officially available in other world locales at a later date
Secret Seven is special ..btw

Have you got your pre-orders yet? Did you get the 2xLp set and if so what do you think of Bridle and Bit?
It feels slightly odd listening to it without Owens vocals, but still a great track (even better when you don't spin it at 45 RPM..)
...hmmm I think I might be answering my own question now.. oh well..

Keeping it consumerist, where can I get me one of those tote bags? Didn't have enough change at the gig.

So Bridle and Bit doesn't have any vocals on it? Also how did you go about purchasing the Japanese version?

ugh, why does every country get things before Canada? my 2xLP preorder hasn't arrived yet :/. I hope that someday I will be able to hear that piano version of The Secret Seven... I think I might explode from its beauty.
