Ok ok here's the plan. Bus up to Montreal for Osheaga on the 31st, seeing Owen and Arcade Fire. Bus back that night, sleeping there, then getting to the pavilion and camping out. Awful idea? YES.

The Arcade Fire and I, our schedules aren't matching up. Not this year, anyway.

Not even during Osheaga? (I am not sure why I'm asking since I'll be out of the country for that.)

Sad times. It'll still be a great show, just hoping that one day I get them see them with you playing.
In good news - I got pit tickets for the Atlanta show this morning, so I'm uber-stoked about that

Aww. Well alright. We'll get by. It was enough to see the "string section" at Montreal.

That's sad to hear. I was crossing my fingers for some Osheaga or Olympic Island magic. But, I will survive (hey, hey).

Volcano permitting, I'll be catching them two or three times this summer. It's been a while, and I'm ready to go for broke. I hear they bought donuts for the kids lining up outside the venue yesterday. I'm easily impressed I guess, but I have to say, stuff like that makes me feel pretty good about handing them a giant bag of all my money.
Somebody could do with having a quiet word with somebodys barber though.

(They are playing a scret show in Longueuil, Quebec tomorrow. I will go. But it's a secret, so *shhh*)

What the hell ever goes wrong in Canada anyway? It's Canada, for crying out loud.
"Excuse me sir, your huskies have eaten my string section."
"Oh, I'm terribly sorry, here, have mine."
"Oh no, that's quite alright, I'm going in a different creative direction now anyway."
