I really wish I could see them somewhere, sometime, but I couldn't afford to go to the festival they played in Norway :/
Has Owen been playing with them on any concert, this tour?

He played with them at the Osheaga music festival in Montreal. Best show I've ever seen.

Saw just the AF crew in Boston. I couldn't tell if it was me, the crowd, or the band who didn't grok with the new songs, but even the "low points" (i.e. spot-on performances of "We Used to Wait," "Modern Man," and "Sprawl II" (I think) ) were great. This band tears me apart.

Ah got it but it still makes me wish I had a record player so I could listen to Suburbs in its awe inspiring entirety on beautiful vinyl. You would think that a record player would be a worthy investment one of these days after all this complaining.

Apologies if someone's mentioned this elsewhere, but Youtube is currently streaming tonight's Arcade Fire show at MSG (Owen's playing with them too!) www.youtube.com/arcadefirevevoThere are some clear quality issues going on, but I'm hoping they'll be ironed out.

That was actually a pretty bangin concert. I loved Win's "this is live as shit" when the drum machine screwed up.

i loved the show, despite all the technical difficulties that they had, it was rather epic, i just wish that my feed hadn't cut out during Empty Room -- that is quite an epic jam.

From the webcast alone, that was immense. Is it me or does Win Butler look far more comfortable in front of a gigantic crowd than he ever did in front of just pretty big ones? He caught that Sprawl II false-start like a damn ninja, and he's right, it is stuff like that which makes a live show. Must be said, for such a big guy, he proved unexpectedly nimble on that railing. i loved the show, despite all the technical difficulties that they had, it was rather epic, i just wish that my feed hadn't cut out during Empty Room -- that is quite an epic jam. I reckon you're in luck.
