Arcade Fire/Owen Pallett is not something that happens every day, and having seen a couple of Arcade Fire's recent shows, y'all should be kicking yourself raw if you miss 'em. i had a dream that they raised the ticket prices for this show so it was now $219. i am STRESSIN'. you guys. i'm so broke. i'm already seeing owen three times in sept. and i'm going to osheaga. what do i do. you have no idea how much of a moral dilemma this is. BHDKJHFLKASF. poop poop pooop.

Sprawl II knocked me for six, in the very best of ways. The rest, I think I'm going to have to stew with it for a bit. I think I might actually wait until I have the thing in my hands to do that, which is unusual for me, I can't pretend I'm not a dastardly sponging leak hound.
Still, as rabid as I was to hear this thing, part of me wanted it to make it to release date without it getting out purely to prove that it was possible. I wasn't loving watching even the normally sane quarters of the internet go rapidly mad in the meantime though, so maybe it's for the best.
As it was, I can't remember the last record that was that high profile and managed to stay under wraps for so long. Good game Team Arcade Fire, good game. See you on the webcast.

I've only heard 4 of the tracks: Ready to Start, Month of May, The Suburbs, and We Used to Wait. So far I really like what I've heard but I am waiting to hear the rest until the album is released. Oh the temptation will be great.
