Not out till April but Silversun Pickups' 'Swoon'. That's gotta be one of the best from '09. Other than Heartland obviously.

Finally got a copy of the new Hank album, Luck of the Singers yesterday. It's quiet the best album that they have done so far and well just you should get a listen and see for yourselves. go here and explore www.weepingtruckers.com/

I've been tring to decied whether or not i should purchase the DVD/opera for The Getty Address. but I think I hold off, and wait for this next release! goodness Ive just listend to the SXSW session, and Boy, oh, Boy does that song "Remade Horizon" sound incredible or what?! (and they're coming out with a "Stillness Is The Move" Ep containing an a cappella version, next month?!)

Theres supposed to be a new Hella album this year and they went back to being a duo so I'm pretty stoked for that.

"Pegatively Nositive" is a wicked record! Kado is the greatest, I miss his guts.
Considering none of my favourite records last year were girl records (except Larkin Grimm), this year is lousy with awesome music written and sung by females.
The Dirty Projectors "Bitte Orca" (which I've only heard half of but it was stunning, stunningly good.) Micachu & The Shapes "Jewellery" (which I just bought 11 copies online and sent to strangers.) St. Vincent "The Actor" Bat For Lashes "Two Suns" Telepathe "Dance Mother"
Totally great year for music already!!
