Eeek!!! I can't even explain how excited I am about the new Simon Bookish!!! I'm sure it will be bloody fantastic. Although I find it extremely disturbing that his last two albums are now only available on itunes. That is very ick & Not Right! No, no. Tsk, tsk, tomlab, what's with that? Speaking of records, the EPs will be out before you know it. We haven't set a release date yet, but if I see you anytime in August, I'll have copies to sell you. I'll post some MP3s on a Myspace or the site or something in the next few days. Thank you, sir, see ya then!

The new Simon Bookish stuff is outstanding (I heard a few snippets the other day) and so glad he's finally getting a proper release. Leo is such a nice person and deserves a break. I won't bore you with details but getting trainwreck out at all was a long saga involving many a financial crisis. I'm glad I was able to get a few copies for some of us to treasure. I've been generally disappointed in the releases this year with little firing my enthusiasms so far (LSP, Rascals and Wolf Parade) but I'm excited about this, Parenthetical Girls and Max Tundra already. I'll take Owen's word about Skeletons one. Speaking of records, the EPs will be out before you know it. We haven't set a release date yet, but if I see you anytime in August, I'll have copies to sell you. I'll post some MP3s on a Myspace or the site or something in the next few days. Thanks...although I'm going to have to pray that these are easy to buy from overseas, otherwise I'm going to be bribing locals to get me copies.

Thanks for the clarification, Jules! And no disprespect meant, k? I was just angsting for the world at large, I'm also fortunate enough to own Unfair & Trainwreck due to the incredible generosity of Mr Chadburn. God! I can't wait to hear the new stuff, hope he posts some of it soon up on his myspace or something. And Oh ohhhhhh!!!! Has anyone mentioned that the new Grizzly Bear album is being recorded right now? Because if not, they definitely will be deserving of consideration for the Best Album 08, I'm sure!!! So far, I've heard 'While You Wait For the Others' and apparently they played another new song on Conan last week (which, of course, I missed! damn!!) but While You Wait is completely lovely & I can't imagine anything but brilliance coming from those boys. Yayy!!!

I absolutely agree with you suburbanmyth. I heard the song they have on their website. I'm excited about that album! Plus, I'm, maybe, gonna go see them August 6th, when they'll be the Radiohead opening act, in Montreal.

I'm not very fond of Radiohead but it would be worth it just to see Grizzly Bear again, I hope you get a ticket!! /turns-a-minty-verdant Man, I don't think I can wait until next spring for a new GB album/tour, i mean, obviously i"ll have to but.... dear god, that's a long time!!

this has found its way onto the internet. i am liking it muchly, especially the last two tracks. much more brash and orchestral than the first two albums. sort of wtf-inducing but in a good way

What did you guys think of Andorra? It had some standout tracks ("Sandy" for one), but I thought it was pretty sub-par compared to his past stuff.
