Broken violin blues
My violin was decapitated but those things are hardier than they look
Going to Claire's to get a new violin #RecordStoreDay
Sadness: dead violin is dead. The repairs, too expensive.
Happily, I got a great sounding student model. It's all in how you play it, anyway, right?
That broke ass violin played on a shit tonne of records, but sentimentality is the devil, folks
My student violin looks so stereotypical that Patrick described it as "Helvetica". Plays good though
No fuckin tears for a box of wood. A price tag is just a price tag. I don't play that game. #CanadianClub
Oh, and on the violin front, sentimentality won out. It's getting its nosejob. I do not enjoy having to give in to "feelings".

Donau Festival Special!
Playing Donau festival today in Austria with Ben Frost, Valgeir, John Cale, James Blake, others...
The crew just loaded four Ampeg 8x10s up onstage for Ben Frost. What a loser
Wild Beasts have somehow manage to install arpeggiators on every instrument on stage, include drums, guitars
Some cute folks just thought I was James Blake so I signed his name on their records
White people / don't know what to do / when they all look the same
Wild Beasts always make me feel like a 12-year old fangirl #swoon #squee #etc
