Hi folks,
I couldn't find any discussion of this show here and it looks like I may be able to go (and it seems there are still tix at TM).
Any info about openers? is it going to be OP + Thomas or more backing?

The opener for this show is Snowblink. I've seen them open before for Owen and they're great.

It was a really good show. A new song was played (he said it was the first time he played it live) and Owen came out for a double encore.

No, sorry. I remember it had a lot of, sort of dancey bass that continued throughout the song (boom, boom, boom, boom). And there was one set of lyrics that were said a lot. Guh, maybe Owen could help us out here. Heartland posters were sold at the show for only a dollar, I was very happy to get that with a Heartland shirt aswell.

Of the 8-or-so times I've seen him live, I think this show was his best. His sound gets more and more intricate, sophisticated, polished and graceful with each time I see him. Thomas's accompaniment was marvelous. I was utterly spellbound by their performance, as I am every time.

Did anyone see me? I was wearing a shirt that said "this is not here". tsk, tsk. Haha, I wish I had. I had a pretty awkward encounter with some young men that I will not repeat here. Yes, I'll have to agree that this was an amazing set (although this is only my third time going to an OP show). It was so cohesive. Am I wrong or did he say, "This is the last old song I'll be playing, sorry." at one point? Couldn't figure it out, and there were REALLY annoying girls talking OVER the music behind us. I explained this to my sister and why I was angry and everything, and she said I was just being "melodramatic". I hope you all see a bit better than she did why it was so terrible. Anyway, I hope he comes back soon!

Anyway, I hope he comes back soon! I'm pretty sure he said that after That's When The Audience Died. Which was true in the sense he didn't play anything off Has A Good Home until Better Than Worse, right at the end. This was (i'm pretty sure) the setlist if anyone's interested... The posters were only $1??! DANG!!! I didn't even bother looking at other prices as I has so little money.. I bought the LP and was very happy to get it signed by Owen and Thomas. Was so tempted by the book, but I need to be able read 1000x better than I can now, well, and play, before I can justify it. It was one of the best live musical experiences I've ever had, and it was the first time I ever saw him play. I can't wait for next time!
