Thanks for the show! What recorder did you use, and where in the place were you? I am *SO* happy! That was once of the best concerts I've ever been too, and my first time seeing him live. This is awesome!
Barenaked Ladies, the last time I saw them.. they'd record the show professionally as it went on from the mixer, and sans editing, dump the show onto a USB key, and the merch people would take orders at the end of the show and as soon as the file could be copied onto keys, they'd sell it for $20. Brilliant!

Brilliant! Hi Kydi - I use a Sony Minidisc recorder (model MZM10) with a Sony ECM-17 Mic. Most people who tape now use a solidstate recorder but I remain attached to my MD. I was 6 rows from the front on the far right. I've heard of the BNL thing - Phish & maybe Pearl Jam also do something similar. There is also Played Last Night(dot com) which Iron&Wine uses. They record and then sell online. I'd definitely pay for shows that I've been to (and definitely don't undercut the artists who do use this with my recording) but am pleased that Owen is alright with taping as it stands now.
