OK, who's excited? ;D It's been a very long week, and I really can't wait! I know "Heartland" about a zillion times more than I did by the time the Union Chapel gig came along, so it's gonna be a whole new experience <3

Amazingly excited, since I've only seen Owen play Union chapel the past two times he's been here :3 So the change of venue will hopefully lead to a completely different experience Just realised that I've taken a new friend with me to every single concert of his

I'm taking a different friend this time too! Only my second gig of his, and I'm really psyched . His Union Chapel gig was the best thing I've seen since Bjork's "Volta" tour... Yeah, I wonder how it'll be at Koko. Did you get that email from the promoters offering half-price tickets? So I guess sales were slow... it's a biggish venue as I remember - I went once to see Scissor Sisters(!) being recorded for MTV. (I only went 'cos it was free of course). They had a big thrust stage out in the middle which Jake Shears and Ana Matronic writhed about on. I don't imagine Owen's gig will quite be like that...!

Alas I can't make it to this gig, but if you report back on any podium writhing by Owen tomorrow I'm going to be sooooo jealous! Will be interested to hear how it goes though....the last Union Chapel gig was so special, I'm struggling to see how Koko can match it.

It sucks I couldn't come this time, I really wanted to. Are they having trouble moving the tickets? I wonder if it's because of the name change from final fantasy [rip], although I guess the venue is kind've big.

Not even Koko, Ruiner of Gigs could spoil that stellar performance from Owen. Can't wait to see him again at Coachella!

Another great show. Possibly more polished that Cardiff, but then it's a London show. Thomas is just such a great addition to the live shows and the sound quality of the shows has been exceptional. Worked well in both venues although very different.
Here's the corrected set list order (it was posted elsewhere in slightly wrong order)
E Is For Estranged This is the dream of Win and RĂ©gine Scandal At The Parkade That's When The Audience Died Midnight Directives Keep The Dog Quiet / Mt Alpertine The Great Elsewhere Lewis Takes Action He Poos Clouds Independence Is No Solution Flare Gun The Butcher Many Lives - 49 MP Lewis Takes Off His Shirt --- CN Tower Song Song Song Fantasy

I...I can't even. I am just grinning like a complete fool right now. The complete shock and awe I am experiencing hasn't even hit me yet... EDIT: someone PLEASE tell me they have a recording of this song, and I mean since he apparently started playing it again. The old version was so glorious I can't even imagine what this sounds like.

Just had to join the forum to say what an awesome gig that was - my first OP gig but definately not my last!

I'll add my voice to the "SCANDAL AT THE PARKADE FFFFFFFFFFFF" choir. There had best be digital documentation.

I and my sister had a fantastic time last night. First time seeing OP live, and hopefully not the last as he did not disappoint! Unfortunately the opening act made us half deaf, but we had recovered mostly by the time what we came for began. Best bit: OP asks the audience whether we were bored with his set list - resounding "NO" from the audience. I hope someone recorded at least some of it. Edit: Decent recording of "He Poos Clouds" (sounds really chatty in the pit - much less chatting on the balconies): www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnyXza39T-A
