thanks for yourlovely comments, i want to learn how to silkscreen, is probably the obvious next step as i do a lot of these stencil portraits it seems.. hah. i actually was moments away from turning your last painting into a stencil (my neighbor and i do silk screening) but i hesitated when i realized id have to loose the white "dots" which made owens eyes appear shiny-and i just couldnt let my self do that i changed my mind, stuck indoors from rainy weather i came up with this... back of shirt thanks to Dee front of shirt

Wind Waker style Linkification Hahah, snap. That's simply fantastic! I like the t-shirt as well, but I'm not so sure about the color-combination.

ek no i agree, it was only a "tester" i had to position of the front way to high due to the pocket, it was an old shirt-riping, stretched, well-loved. its one of those lock the doors, pull the shades, wear with pride and cook something delicious or draw something colorful kind of shirts...

Hehe. A friend of mine made me a Owen t-shirt for Christmas. It's awesome. I'd take a picture if I had a camera.

You're guys are fishing for muses in all the wrong places. My suggestion? Steph Comilang, 'nuff said.

oooh wow! its cool! i actually really like the front of it too! Thanks so much!! I kind of want to make more, designs that is.. I think one shirt in this model is more than enough.. i increased the contrast on your picture and made the other stencils digitally before i did the shirt, so if you--or anyone else--wants to print, cut, then decorate something... have fun!

hmm, well if you want to take on the owen yells in violin as a stencil you'd need to do a little bit of adjusting.. if you print it on a piece of paper and cut out the blackness you would loose a lot of the white centers...unless you did a wittle bit of editing of course..
but the stencil i've posted is ready for use. just print to a piece of paper, cut out with a razor blade, put on on something and spray it with spray paint. i actually silk screened, but that requires..stuff..

haha i know, i've been resaerching about silk screening, but that's definitely something i can't do and today i was bored, so I made this: i was thinking about colouring it, but i'm afraid i'll wreck it edit - i didn't know it was going to turn out this big...

yeah, silk screening looks really cool to do, but i don't think i could do it at home... i'd probably get the emulsion everywhere and ruin everything hehe... i'd really like to see your stencil, if it's not too much trouble!!! about the picture, i didn't actually draw it. it might sound like i'm a fraud, but i use transparent paper over a picture i like and i copy it. i do that because i love to paint but i suck at drawing about the colours, i'm not sure how to do it; i was thinking really bright colours, to give it a "freaky" vibe... any thoughts on that?
