Love the picture Dee! (the specks are kind of cool, it give texture ya know? haha) i like your simplicity a whole lot! it kindof reminds me of those Chinese rice-paper paintings of trees and swirly clouds.haha thats a good thing though!

i actually was moments away from turning your last painting into a stencil (my neighbor and i do silk screening) but i hesitated when i realized id have to loose the white "dots" which made owens eyes appear shiny-and i just could let my self do that

great style?! ;DThanks! unfortunately most of my pictures end up being thrown away--everything i get out of it occurs when making it and once its done it seems usless to me--(haha, that pisses off a lot of my friends..) im trying my hardest to change though! and if i ever do get a portfolio together and a cool fancy art displaying website, i'll let you know!

Everyones generosity of compliments encouraged me to finally start another picture! hooray!!
i started it today, and am mostly done with all the hard/thought involved stuff (the drawing) its not as straight forwardly fun as the last one, but i definitely would not consider it boring..im really into this one!..well anyway, with a little more work, hopefully you all eventually see

..theres a whole lot in there, everything except for the Nintendo 64 controller is a direct reference to final fantasy/owen pallett, but i wanted to incorporate video games somehow and when i thought of the idea i couldnt help myself...im glad you were able to understand it though! ;D

It is a reference to Owen. They played the Nintendo 64 when he was recording with Beirut, compared to playing the Wii when he was with The Arcade Fire.
