Hahaha!!! God, that's a really funny drawing, Richie! Good job!! I don't have any suggestions at the moment but if I think of something I'll definitely post it! Can't wait to see your next creation. And that is such a beautiful portrait, Dee. "Woah!" indeed!! Portraits are definitely my passion, even more than the incredibly stupid scribbles I often do, but I can't seem to do them except from real life. So Owen, if you read this thread, I'm going to make a ridiculously stupid offer: if by any chance you have about 20 minutes to spare next time you're in Vancouver (I work really fast, honest!) and I have my conté crayons with me, I'd love to attempt a portrait of you! errm.. yah, right. And I'd really like to do ones of Patrick & Steph too! I know that artists rarely seem to get their own portraits drawn, unless it's a self-one. God, I'm so so stupid... Anywho... I'm really interested to see some more drawings posted up here! C'mon, all you artistes!!

thanks suburbanmyth! ill be sure to continue to post any owen related drawings as soon as i get the chance to make them... Hahaha! i could only imagine that being extremely awkward, however that may be, of course that same offer comes from me too! Hahah! (going on tour to japan and Australia?, why not a detour in hawaii, doesnt sound that crazy does it?...all for a self portrait, yeah maybe a bit crazy..) suburbanmyth, assuming this never happens, you should still give it a try, yea a copy from a photograph will never do justice but its all for laughs and giggles right? we promise we wont be too harsh!

Well, of course he should go to Hawaii for a portrait!!! I can certainly think of lamer excuses for a trip there! And re: awkwardness? I suppose it's just lucky that I've become so immune to my penchant for self-embarrassment. So so silly!! Ah yes! In the name of silliness, well, I might attempt an actual portrait-from-photo some time... but here's an incredibly stupid illustration I did for a blog in reference to the Maximum Black Festival. Since we're sharing and all. I think I called it: The Dream of the Austrian Public Worker

Either, "Haven't you heard? I am a flightless bird, I am a lair"
or "All the boys I've ever loved have been digital"
either way write small at the bottom, "Append a Bulgarian children choir"
