1) Apparently, it's a Heartland song, Lewis being a character in Heartland. 2) It's incredibly brilliant. Ah so it is a Heartland song.... deadly. That album will no doubt be very good.

Lewis Takes Action
I got a message for the acolytes, I am your man in a bloody fight I got a thirst for liquid gold, I'll bludgeon 'til the body's cold The stony hiss of cockatrice has cast us into serfdom I close my eyes and spur Imelda down the mountainside, for a liberated Spectrum!
I took No-Face by the beak, and broke his jaw, he'll never speak again I took No-Face by the beak, and broke his jaw, he'll never speak again My every move is guided by the bidding of the singer The night is split by the whistle of my amber whip, and the fire from my fingers!
E Is For Estranged
Boys run like water from the barrel to the trough, they'll never stop their running Gunning for their brothers This house is a hostel, it is peaceful, but it's always emptying Boys all want to be someone
Haven't you heard? I am a flightless bird, I am a liar Feeding the facts to false fires Pathos is borne, borne out of bullshit in formal attire (But I'll score your string ensemble)
I saw my son at seventeen, the shudders made projections on his naked frame But now at twenty-five, he simply cannot stay away from the ketamine With make-up on his sores, he spends an hour a day composing his own eulogy Sometimes he sends me letters, but they're mostly garbled phrases and apologies
Haven't you heard? I am a flightless bird, I am a liar Feeding the facts to false fires Pathos is borne, borne out of bullshit in formal attire (Append a Bulgarian children's choir)

Thank you!! Thank you!! Thank you!!! [EDIT] Btw, the lyrics are beautiful! It's so satisfying when you can't predict what word will end each line. Now I can finally stop singing "...and the fall out from my fingers!" Yes. Stopping that now.

E is for extremely depressing.
In a really pretty way.

Hey 0wen, whats up with that one song, you've been opening shows with it?
The string line goes, trill *pluck* trill *pluck* trill *pluck*
and later with the "thump thump thump thump thump thump" and "Ooowahooo hooos"
Great jam. Please continue to think BIG.

Are talking about "The Man with No Ankles/Neck" ? (Never sure if it's ankles or neck...)

Haha, the man with no neck that's awesome. yes the one with the seemingly "wrong" keyboard intro.

I have a live version of Lewis Takes Action, and it's close to being my favourite FF song - it's certainly my most listened to. Amazing song. But for the last 4 months, before today, it's been on my iTunes as 'Track 08'. I sort of tried to scribe the lyrics... quite badly, but I was just googling the bits I thought I got right, when I found Owen's posted correct lyrics and song title. Thank you so much! I was... worryingly excited when I found them, 'cos I adore that song. Hey 0wen, whats up with that one song, you've been opening shows with it? The string line goes, trill *pluck* trill *pluck* trill *pluck* and later with the "thump thump thump thump thump thump" and "Ooowahooo hooos" Great jam. Please continue to think BIG. I think this must be the other song which I've been trying to figure out for ages... it's Track 01 anyway, and it's really great, and really long, yeah? Something about "You could really do anything". They try to keep it from the [something], but beyond that it seems that it's out of, it's out of control, that they're creating someone beautiful..; I got that, and a whole load of other stuff which is also probably very wrong. I would love to know what the actual lyrics were.

For sure it isn't done yet, but crazzy potential to be the best FF song yet. Well, tied with H the D or E.

This tells me it's called "The Great Elsewhere" and it's a really amazing song... I remember seeing some time ago a list of the heartland tracks somewhere but I can't find it. Does anyone remember this or is it just a dream?
