Just watched: Mirrormask (seriously, its TOO weird for my taste) Once Upon a Time in Mexico (MARRY ME ROBERT RODRIGUEZ!) Walk the Line (Meh, Cash is cool, acting is not) V for Vendetta (OH GOD WHY DID YOU RAPE MY FAVORITE COMIC SO?!) and From Dusk til Dawn (MARRY ME ROBERT RODRIGUEZ!)
I suggest Dusk til Dawn over them all.

happiness match point sydney, boogie nights, magnolia, punch-drunk love an overrated "classic" like the godfather or chinatown the big lebowski, fargo, etc
but personally, i would suggest "ned danny's 'the cleaners'" because i just finished it and you'd be one of the first to see it before it hits festivals and it's funny and you'd like it.

P.S. I'm also very interested in the working class as I was born into a working class family. So any movies dealing with working class struggles and the like would be good.
P.P.S. Thanks for the suggestions so far!

Haha, oh man. A friend and I had Goodfellas on repeat and watched it three times although we wouldn't watch it closely every time. 7 and a half hours well spent!

U SUCK AT PICKING MOVIES THAT I SAY ARE GOOD FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING THE POINT THAT I SUCK AT MOVIES, BECAUSE I DO SUCK AT MOVIES, BUT NOT THE ONES I LISTED. FOR EXAMPLE, TRANSPORTER 2 IS ALSO FANTASTIC.

Thanks for the suggestions so far! i don't know if you're into foreign films, but there are some good japanese films about the working class...ozu's tokyo story is really good, as is imamura's ballad of narayama.
