they played here for the first time last march - after good news was released.
the show was sold out when my friends and i (who have been fans since moon) tried to get tickets. all of the 14-year-olds who know the words to "float on" had their daddies buy them the first day.
that really pissed us off.

Moon & antacrtica is their best album. Paper Thin Walls (is that what its called? I think so. "These walls are paper thin" doesn't sound right" is a kickass song. Along with 3rd Planet, which I played in my band a few times.

It is their best album for sure, in my opinion.
Stars are projectors is sweet , so is the cold part.

most people I meet who say they like Xiu Xiu heard that song first. they played it a lot on the local college station - that and "fabulous muscles," which is odd, because the program head is picky about content.

I got into Xiu Xiu with FM, which is their poppiest record to date, but now I can't really listen to it. After Crank Heart and I Luv, I usually switch tracks, though recently I have been able to go until Support until I switch to A Promise (FAVORITEST ALBUM!)
