maybe i'll just cut my wrists xoxoxo DON'T! if you do, you'll end up on the news, and your suicide will be blamed on the music of xiu xiu, and there will be this whole anti-xiu xiu movement among soccer moms, so their kids will of course start listening to xiu xiu, and this forum will be overrun by teenagers who still have marilyn manson tees in their closets but now think connor oberst and that guy from dashboard confessional are gods, and we'll have to start using smaller words so the emo kids can read them through the small openings between the chunks of hair covering their faces, and we won't be able to see the band without paying $100+ for tickets, and we'll have to find new, even more obscure music to obsess over so that we don't fit... just don't ... on the other hand, your suicide could make my vinyl collection worth quite a bit of money.... nah, don't

nothing sucks like popularity. i dont know if anyone else has been a bright eyes fan for a long time (pre-'lifted'), but it sure does suck to see all these fucking teenage girls eat up the music that is meant to be private and beautiful, and now i have to deal with people thinking that im some kind of bandwagon kid because i listen to him/them.

Its a pain to have to see him and see 500 13 year olds girls wearing associated hot topic shirts watch him. Guy can still write freakin songs like none other.

what doesn't make sense to me is why he got so big so fast. and then there's all these "bright eyes communities" starting up everywhere(IE: myspace), and the oblivious "i joined this because i have bright eyes" character.....ugh. sithie, well put. nothing sucks like popularity.

I love popularity! I can feel it bursting through my veins as I walk down a busy street and people smile because I smile. "Hey Jole" they say "Hi Tim" I reply. It feels so good to have everyone thinking about you all of the time. My nose itches constantly. I love to stick my popularity in peoples mouths! Their eyes totally bugging out! I can't believe he's putting his popularity in my mouth! I am so lucky! (sigh) Popularity=Universal Truth of what is super good dummy!
