i havn't sent mine out yet because i dont have a car, so i can't get to he post office.
and my school is filled with horrable hardcore bands that think they're cool. i pity the one who gets my cd for that theme.

so i'm guessing another rule for that theme would be that you can't just burn that one magnetic fields album and mail it off to somone, correct?

so, is there a general concensus that this should be a bi-monthly thing, or should we try the monthly thing out and see what happens?

also, should there be a theme on the next one, or are we leaving it open ended again? if a number of people come up with possible themes, we could start a poll... or perhaps we could have it be theme required, but each burner gets to choose his/her own theme

I like a theme idea, it keep sthings interesting, and not just a re-has of everyone' favorite indie hits.

This whole ordeal shaved a few years off my life. I had no idea of where to start. I lost a lot of sleep over the mix and then ending up dumping the mix I had and pooping out a new one in a few minutes and mailing it late and being really stressed out. I guess what I'm trying to say is that we should definitely have themes from here on out. Also, I think monthly is better. But only if there's a theme.

It was worth it, though, to check my mailbox today and find my mix with its messy writing and heart. It was a good (unintentional) birthday present. Thank you, thisshitisoranges.
