Not really xiu xiu related, so I don't know how valid this post is... I figured I could start a thread where everyone posted a mix cd they made / a favorite mix of theirs to share with everyone. If this is a hassle or anything just delete the thread please. i have an idea...
how about we make a mixed cd trade? everyone post your address. and everyone mail a mixed cd they made to someone on the board?
we could arrange it so it's like secret santa, and everyone mails and gets one mixed cd, so no one's left out.

i'm in...
actually, we could go one step further... we could do it every month or every other month, and each time, we could have a theme, like "depressing music", "angry music", "fucked up children's music"...
and maybe we should all send our addresses to one person via email, and that person could figure out who is sending what to who... that way, the whole "secret santa" thing works out (except for one), and we don't all have to post our addresses online

ok, since it was an idea that just popped into my head... but david and john are better at organizing.
let's do it like the interview but all over again. john and david, help me arrange this stuff and it's mixed cd trade city! we're the mayors! i'm excited.

i don't think it would take much organizing...
here, i'll do it...
if you want in on the Secret Xiu Xiu Fan Mix CD Trade, e-mail your address to dr.strangelove13@gmail.com with "mix cd trade" in the subject...
on January, Friday the thirteenth, i will compile all the addresses sent to me at that time and send each person an address that they will send a mix CD to
so, send me your address, and start thinking carefully about what you want to put on it
there, that's done... should we institute any rules, or let chaos be the theme?

oh excellent. i think a nice theme would be "songs you think everyone should here atleast once" and a rule that says no xiu xiu in the mix.
