Hope you all don't mind me uploading these setlists to setlist.fm for future historical reference. Also cool to hear that the new Win & Regine bassline from the Lee's Palace show is still being used! Thanks for the uploads. No probs.. I always wonder how they appeared

Thanks! Haha, he asked for questions again at Field Day - there were a few seconds of silence and then he was like "never mind!" Was the show good? ha no one asked anything at all??? wow! Sorry I didn't reply, I've just been away on holiday! The show was really good but I guess there's no point in giving details since you can see the video! Thanks for uploading it Jules! I'm now all booked for Essen - so excited to hear the new songs!

Just need to sort out my hotels for the Berlin trip now. Flights and concert tickets arranged. I've only been to Berlin once and that was by train from Warsaw. Arrived late.. straight to hotel and then up early for flight to next port of call. All I saw was the Brandenburg gates from a window of the taxi. Mrs Jules and Ed are coming along as well although Flo can't make the trip.

Saw Owen in Quebec city last night, and it was wonderful. I don't remember the set list because I don't have a head for that sort of thing, but the show was great. People asked for his cover of bloc party, which was fantastic but also not what I would have wanted. Also, he asked for questions, but people just asked where he was from, which was silly.
But! The show as a whole was wonderful. I think my face froze in an oversized grin for several hours after.

New stuff is excellent. It blended extremely well with the 3 In Conflict tracks that were played. It's difficult to judge how it will sound on record or how much it will change over the coming months but I'm happy.

Sorry for leaving you in suspense - I was only home for one night before going through to Edinburgh. They sounded really good! Most of it was very minor-sounding (my musical knowledge isn't really sufficient to say much more than that! ) There was one more upbeat song, I think it was the Great White Noise. And something about Paragon of Order reminded me of Tryst, but that might've just been me! Stargaze played with him for all the songs and they had some quite unusual instruments - there were bass clarinets and (what I think was) a bass flute. Also there was a really great crowd in Edinburgh and I'm so pleased because it always seems to me as if I'm the only person in Scotland who has ever heard of Owen!
