Jules and Cat: so glad to hear it, were there still a violin in the new songs? I'm really excited to hear <3 Happy you guys got to go! Thanks! No, he didn't play violin at all. Oh wow, thanks for letting me know! A bit sad to hear that but I'm sure it's still lovely stuff.

So the Essen shows were pretty amazing! Saturday's set was the same as Berlin, except he also did the Arctic Circle with Stargaze and then played a solo encore of He Poos Clouds on a borrowed violin with no loop pedals! Then on Sunday he had a piano instead of the synth so everything sounded even more beautiful and he added in The Pooka Sings with Stargaze. And at the end he played the piano version of The Secret Seven solo, followed by the piano version of The Riverbed!!!!!!!!! (Which was the one thing I wanted to hear more than anything and never thought I would unless I became rich enough to hire a pianist, so I literally sat with my mouth hanging open for the entire song! )

I'd have loved to have made the Essen shows but work didn't permit. Sound like both shows were worth the effort. In Darkness was my favorite but all the new stuff is excellent.

Aww, I wish you could have made it there! I think Vengeance is my favourite (and Polar Vortex... and The Sound Of The Engine on the piano was the most beautiful thing!), but yes all of them sounded brilliant!

So glad you got to go to the shows <3 I'm in the USA now and there's a show in Toronto on Dec 1. If I'm not back in the UK by then I'm going to try and go

Besides the facebook video of Lewis Gets Fucked Into Space, have any videos of the new songs played live surfaced yet?

I bought a ticket, just not sure if I'll be back in England by Dec 1.
