Could you play the Arctic Circle when you play in Brisbane?
Also, not a request but my underage sister will bake you ridiculous amounts of cookies/cupcakes if you can find a way to sneak her in. ;D

Not sure if requesting a cover song is untoward, but considering that John Cale played at the Sydney Festival last year, and if your cover of 'Paris 1919' is still in your repertoire, would that be a fitting song to play during your shows at the Spiegeltent at the Sydney Festival from the 19th-21st? At this stage, I'm going to the show on the 19th, and I'd love to hear it. Good luck Down Under!

PLEASE play your cover of This Modern Love tomorrow in Singapore, Owen! It was the first song I heard you play (I know it's not one of your originals, but your take on it blew me away nevertheless), and it would be really nice to hear that song live tomorrow. It would really really make my night - but seeing you would have already done that! I'll be happy to hear The Butcher too, and This Is The Dream of Win and Regine, if you still play that

Hello Owen! I'm going to both Wednesday and Fridays Sydney shows. Some request: The Butcher CN Tower Belongs to the DeadThat's When the Audience Died (These three would be stellar) Some more requests: Don't StopScandal at the ParkadeLewis' Dream Song Song Song Took You Two Years to Win My Heart Thanks! Cannot wait. EDIT: Crossed out songs he played on Wednesday. I asked him/you about The Butcher, and he/you said it's a tricky one to perform live.

So I just noticed that you have two threads for requesting songs, so I'm just going to rewrite what I wrote in the first one. So, March 4th in Vancouver... First off, can you do one show with your original material, and the an aftershow of every cover you've ever done, including this one, flailing arms and all? www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4qkh66zlxI Haha! But on a more serious note, I immensely love ALL your covers, but I'll narrow it down: An Actor's Revenge Paris 1919 Dance Dance Dance And original: Blue Imelda (if possible!) Scandal at the Parkade (I'm sure you'll play this one anyway) The Butcher Thanks Owen!

I completely forgot this thread had been created, thanks for posting in it Alea, I'm going to do the same thing you did! For the gig in Paris on the 22nd of February, I would loooooove it if you'd play: Jars of Lars Ultimatum Many Lives with some Bach Peach Plum Pear. Or Fantasy. Or This Modern Love. I can't choose...one of those three (or all three...I wouldn't mind...). Thanks

I thought this would be the most appropriate place to ask anyone who might know.
So whats up with Beirut and Owen in Toronto on August 2nd and 4th? All the listings I've seen have said "Beirut with Owen Pallett," which leads me to believe that Owen will be playing accompanying parts or just singing during "Cliquot".
If not, is Owen playing as an opening band or will the time between the two artists be roughly 50/50?
Lastly, Owen, if you're reading, would you decline requests as an opening act due to length? If not, are you still taking requests here?
