hopefully this isn't too invasive, but is owen's last name really pallett-plowright? i ask this because, while looking to make sure i have everything he's done, i came across a michael pallett-plowright who now goes by owen pallett (and yes i know his full name is michael james owen pallett). under plowright, he did a video game soundtrack? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Traffic_Department_2192i feel like the age is off, though. i dunno. details?

there's a thread about the video game music, but otherwise, no idea about the name thing.

It says "born Michael James Owen Pallett-Plowright" on last.fm, and I dredged up a memory of an interview on a zine somewhere with Owen and Colin Bergh and Matt Smith and some people talking about stuff where he said his name was "Michael James Owen Pallett-Plowright, which means "Lord of the farmland, God of the ploughshare" or something like that. Perhaps they were talking about AWESOME! (the band) and there might have been a madlib involved? Regardless, I can't find any trace of the site; perhaps it was all a dream.

Well I know that the videogame soundtrack is real because it's on my itunes. beyond that, no clue.

It's a really long and boring story.

I would imagine. Name changes are rarely as dramatic as they should be.

If this truly be his name, he is the first person i've heard of to have the same amount of names as myself

We would settle for a long boring story, beats these little monthly one liners that we get from post-twitter Owen.
We need some of those beefy 6 paragraph updates on random shit!
