The Dan Deacon remix is really fantastic. It's like he took all of my favorite things from Bromst and applied them to one of my favorite Heartland songs.
The first time I listened to it, my speaker volume was far too loud, and it was perfect.

Just to clear up the US thing. I've no idea if it will be released in other places, but bearing in mind that LTOHS has been released digitally in UK already, I'd be suprised (although pleasantly) if it became available in UK store.

God, that remix is great. If someone has been able to download the remix, could you send it to me? The download doesn't seem to be working with me. =/

The idea of a BenoƮt Pioulard remix intrigues me. I really like his stuff but I have no idea how he pulls of remixes... especially since I don't really listen to remixes. But the Simon Bookish one is definitely really nice, will have to listen to the Dan Deacon one now.

Just been listening to the Radio edit (they cut out most of the introduction section and the ending fade after 4.45 and ended up with 4.16 instead). It's funny that these days that, lead ins are discarded because when I was young the dj waffled on over them just to annoy you (well that was my impression) and now the things gets trimmed to minimise lenght to get on the radio at all. That's progress I suppose

The first time I listened to it, my speaker volume was far too loud, and it was perfect. Yes! This! Listening to it like that was bewildering but awe-inspiring, even on this not-so-great day I'm having, and now I'm listening to it on headphones and it is emptying my insides.

You guys really liked that shi(r)t? Interesting sure, but I wouldn't listen to it a second time.

when I listened to the original, I felt a little bit unfulfilled. This remix satisfies that need.

It does add a little "oomph". It sounds a bit more dramatic at some points, actually. I don't think I like it better than the original though. It's just as awesome. ^_^

It's like walking down the street and seeing that someone had spraypainted an exact replica of "Marilyn Monroe" by Warhol on the wall, and coming back the next day and seeing that someone had taken the time and care to draw different expressions and faces on each one.

I think that might be the best and most imaginative analogy I've ever come across.
