I own Plays to Please, Spectrum and Heartland on LP but I'm still desperately searching for He Poos Clouds and Has a Good Home. My only lead has been tower.com who I paid $60 Canadian for the two albums and a month and a half later was told they didn't have them.
Anybody know where I can track these two down?

I just bought "HPC" from Secretly Canadian, and the transaction was flawless. I love that distributor; they usually throw in a little bonus gift and the shipping is so fast. Wasn't there a post a few days/a week back about a re-mix/release of "HaGH" in the works? It might be worth waiting for if you don't want to get jacked around by Amazon sellers, but I understand the completist mentality of probably wanting both. (I saw that link myself and went "*hummmmmhrrrr?!*") EDIT: Sorry. I forgot the link: www.scdistribution.com/cat/scd_catalog.php?usersearch=Final%20Fantasy&pagerequest=1

You can buy it from Tomlab. It's a shame Blocks don't appear to have the records - Toronto to Newfoundland as opposed to Germany to Newfoundland would be well cheaper. If you haven't grabbed He Poos Clouds LP yet you can combine shipping for the two for about an extra Euro - it would end up at around $25-30 Canadian dollars each after postage. tomlab.de/front/index.php?action=artist_detail&artist_id=35

I want to bid, but my mom will never let me use the credit card for vinyls. I don't have a functionable record player.

Owen said to my face last time I was with him, that "Now, More Than Ever" by Jim Guthrie was the only album he has ever put his name to that he is totally proud of. That's a big statement! So, luckily, it's coming out on vinyl for the very first time soon. Do yourself a favour and get a copy. It truely is incredible...

"The Believer" magazine (which is affiliated with the amazing McSweeney's publishing house....) does a music issue every year, and in 2005 released an accompanying covers album. Jim Guthrie contributed a fucking amazing version of The Constantines "Nighttime/Anytime" that's made it on many a foreboding mixtape. It has a pretty obvious string arrangement, and all the hallmarks are there, though I've never thought about it until now. Does anyone know for sure if this was Owen or not?

This track should be made available for our listening pleasure, should this be acceptable practise in this here online watering hole.
