I don't know about you guys, but I'd pick a copy of Alphabet Series X over a nude photo any day, however sexy.

Yeah, I was intrigued by the Alphabet Series X photo more than by you JackAltman, no offense though. I am audiosexual.

I'm not saying I mind nude photography, of course.

I'm a fan of both the Alphabet Series 7"s and artistic, nude photography... just sayin'! BUT GUESS WHAT???!!! Guys, I had the best Record Store Day EVERRR!!!!!! I picked up my copy of the Heartland vinyl (yes, I'm LATE! Richie. I know, I know!!) and because it was RSD I got 20% off and only paid $17 including tax. YESSS!!!!! Afterwards we went and saw free shows down at Neptoon Records and I picked up the brand, spanking new Thee Manipulators album. Huzzah!! And Hurray!!!! And even though I was sick, I realized that dancing to Thee Manipulators is a good way to break a fever. True Scientific Fact. I am so IN LOVE, IN LOVE, IN LOVE with Heartland.... I can't even tell you guys how very, very much. But y'all know, I know. <3 I tried to avoid listening to too many of the songs before I got it just cause you never get back that first, fresh experience of hearing an album in it's wholeness, ya know? I failed a bit cause it was irresistible to listen to the songs but it was still rather overwhelming when I put on the album. And it's at 45rpm.... is this discussed on another thread? What was the reason for that?

And it's at 45rpm.... is this discussed on another thread? What was the reason for that? I'm not sure that it spinning at 45 RPM really makes a difference, but spreading the album over four sides allows the grooves to be spaced wider and provides a fuller, less-compressed sound quality. It smacks of the worst kind of audiophile snobbery to say this, but I really can hear the difference. It's those clicks after "Lewis Takes Off His Shirt"! They're astoundingly dynamic. I'm a fan of both the Alphabet Series 7"s and artistic, nude photography... just sayin'! Hubba-hubba.

Ah, that makes sense! Thanks, Mr. Altman. I was terribly curious about that. Oooh, I know what you mean. It does sound even more brilliant than usual! I feel so spoiled!!! Most of my vinyl is very old and 2nd hand so it's already less than minty.

I just ordered Spectrum 14th Century from the Blue House. Here's hoping it actually arrives someday.
