Look up this amazing band. Seriously, you will fall down on your knees and thank me. I heard their music in a film the other day and I immediately thought of Owen and all of you guys. I swear this is not spam, haha. I am not at all part of the band although goddamn... if only. Here's a starter. www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsQFIBgmrKcIf they toured with Owen I would die. But they should. Because it would be BEYOND heaven.

Love it. And did you see at the bottom of the page: Hear the interview with Dale Connelly of Radio Heartland about the album, including live tracks recorded at MPR’s Studio M: Coincidence?

Hey Everyone!
My name is Nick Gaudette and I am the bass player with the Orange Mighty Trio. I am glad you all like the music! I listened to some of Owen's songs this morning on youtube, and I think a music bill with him would sound fantastic!
Emily, out of curiosity, what movie did you hear our music in? We are currently working on another film score that will be released sometime within the year.
Thanks for the great posts everyone. And I'll do my best to keep you informed if the OMT (orange mighty trio) comes to your neck of the woods!
Nick

Oh my gosh!! You made my day You deserve it to yourself to check out Owen EXTENSIVELY haha. You will not be disappointed! I am seeing him twice in March and if I get the chance to talk with him at all after the shows I will be sure to name drop you! But he also reads the forum often so hopefully he will check you out! I would absolutely love if you could hit up New York soon! I'm sure I could stir up a crowd

Will do Dannyboy! We are super excited about Silver Bullets! Actually we will be trying to play the score live with the film when it is finished. And working with Joe has always been great. Actually on YouTube you can find a video called The Long Zoom www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3wv2ZxnhWs Kris and Joe filmed this video for us around Chicago this last summer. Hopefully we will make it out to NYC this next fall. We were just out there this last October and we played with the Mike Block Band at cafe Vivaldi. Thanks Emily for turning my ear on to Owen. It is great to listen too, and I think that strings in general are making a come back (but I suppose I could be a bit bias). I will stay in touch with you all! And thanks for bringing me into this Forum, it looks like a great group of people.

OH dear, a live score with the movie?! Whoa boy. I'm there. No problem- I'm up for turning anyone on to Owen! Haha, and you guys for that matter! I would also give Ben Sollee a listen if you haven't already. Strings certainly are making a comeback and I love every minute of it. I am just beginning violin lessons and am really enjoying it. Definitely keep in touch! We are pretty nice folk I s'pose

We are pretty nice! But so is your trio, fantastic. Do you write all your own music? Do you ever let people/get people to write for you?
