All the music we play is either self composed or arranged by us. A couple years ago we played a show with the amazingly witty and personable Dean Magraw. At that show we tried something different where instead of show consisting of our set and his set, we smushed the sets together. So in fact, we played 2 full sets and we learned all of eachothers tunes to do so. That was a super fun show.
As far as playing music that other people composed, I can run it by the other 2/3rds and I am sure we would love to do try it out! Sky is the limit right? Ren, do you write yourself?
A fun fact is (if anyone is interested in this) We just completed a show with the Maggie Bergeron & Company Dance Company called "Wednesday feels like Tuesday" where we were playing music live for the show, and actually "dancing" as well. By dancing I mean, I had a dancer crawl over my back while I played bass, Mike (piano player) had a dancer on his shoulders while playine a solo, and Zack (violin) was actually picked up and moved across the stage while playing! I'll get some videos up soon. No boundaries, and we love to have fun!

I'm a composition student, but I was honestly just interested in who did your stuff. It's great! Like...familiar but new. Like moving into an old house. And your experiments sound super-awesome. I think you should come to Ontario and play a show.

Sold! We have contemplated coming up to Toronto for a show, and now I will officially make it a point to get up there! If anyone knows of a good venue for this music to be played please let me know. I also have some great people up there as well. One of my good friends and colleagues is on the swing jazz scene up there. I'm not sure if you have heard of Drew Jurecka, He is a Toronto native. Anyway, On our next trip out east, we will try and hit NYC again, Boston and Toronto if we can swing it! Hey you people really are great here. I have been enjoying your posts, your comments, and your intelligent keen ear to the music world! Nick

Hey, if you're coming to NYC anyway, New Jersey is just a long and slightly dirty tunnel away. Think about it! ;D
Really, though, the music is amazing. I have plans to order the album just as soon as I can. And, of course, there isn't really any reason why I can't face that filthy tunnel the next time you guys play in New York. I'll keep watching for tour dates!

PHILLY PHILLY PHILLY!!! I hate not living in a city because no one comes to a college town to play but Philly is only a bus ride away.
