I scanned this too quickly and at first thought that Debaser was on the set list. Can't imagine how that would sound....Owen does the Pixies!

Are you sure that's what this is called? I guess that's what he played in Toronto... Very interesting... I think that's what he introduced it as... that's what I wrote down, anyway. I threw it into Google with quotes around it and came up with this.It could just be a working title, I dunno but I'm sure it's the same one he played at the april 8th show based on the description in the other thread.

WAIT I LIED. It wasn't Lewis' Dream. It was Your Light Is Spent. I have this problem where I associate Your Light Is Spent with the taste of butter DON'T ASK so when I saw he note in my journal I extrapolated it to mean the one that's on the Flora commercial (or did I make that up, too?) when really it was a bit more abstract than that DON'T ASK.

I would've been incredibly jealous if he would've played Lewis' Dream. I am relieved, haha.

I would've been incredibly jealous if he would've played Lewis' Dream. I am relieved, haha. I think in the past he has said that he wouldn't play this live as he wanted to distinguish between his commercial commissions and own material. I may be wrong in my interpretation and he could even change his mind

Now permanently inscribed in the back cover of my copy of Joyce's "Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man" is this Setlist, for April 20th in Boston:
(solo) 1) E is for Estranged (solo) 2) This is the Dream of Win and Regine (solo) 3) Scandal at the Parkade (w/T) 4) That's When the Audience Died (w/T) 5) Midnight Directives (w/T) 6) Keep the Dog Quiet + Mt. Alpentine (w/T) 7) The Great Elsewhere (w/T) 8) Lewis Takes Action (solo) 9) Don't Stop On My Account (solo) 10) He Poos Clouds (w/T) 11) Flare Gun (w/T) 12) The Butcher (w/T) 13) Many Lives -> 49 MP (w/T) 14) Lewis Takes Off His Shirt ---- (w/T) 15) This Lamb Sells Condos
Certain rough points, yeah. This Lamb Sells Condos had quite a few, a few minor things as well. Example: Owen forgot the Mellotron/His Voice patch for Flare gun, so stuck it jokingly into Lewis Takes Off His Shirt. Certain things, though, just worked. Owen and Thomas are absolutely amazing on That's When the Audience Died, and had a good thing going. A few interspersed sound things, but again, Owen's a master of getting people to trust him. Scandal at the Parkade is religious, Don't Stop is oh oh oh so fun. And all.
