I HOPE Owen will perform at some festivals in austria in july/august... I remember that he performed at the Poolbar festival once...I think the organisation was a desaster and Owen seemed to be a bit annoyed by it...but I hope that he'll play there again

Yay for the date change!!
I have more chances of seeing Owen that day because I have no classes that afternoon!!! AAAH this is awesome and makes me less sad that I won't be at the Lille/Metz shows =)

Oh that's great! Living in Toulouse I can't do Toulouse-Lille and Lille-Toulouse the same day, but if it's on 1st june on Paris, I may have a chance if I take the plane or something. I'm so fed up with missing him over and over again for 5 years...

Wow.. this has crept up any suddenly it's Euro tour time again. Seems like only the other day he was touring in dollars. Not much point encouraging attendance today as it sold out.

So how was it for you portugal Pt II tonight then awww man, it was amazing! i only wish i had gotten tickets for the 1st concert as well, so i could compare both, but it was truly wonderful... the crowd was really into it, and so was owen who ended up playing 2 extra songs because of a glitch in the pedal he wanted to understand, so that was nice ^^ also, after the concert i got an autographed 7'' and a picture so i can't complain on that department either. i thought it was funny the way he brought this huge cheese for him and thomas to split; that thing was gigantic! erm, so, i've been out of this board for a while, but what's with the "Last Night in Portugal" dealy? Is that the name of the European tour, or is there a private joke I'm not getting? ;D also, if someone has the setlist for the concert (the 11th March one) I'd very much so appreciate it. thaanks |

Soooo, just a short review of yesterday's concert - it was amazing!! The show was a bit delayed, because Owen arrived late from Portugal...and he just had one hour of sleep  So, at 7 p.m when the doors should have opened, he still did the soundcheck...I didn't mind, it was nice to hear Anyway, around 8 o'clock the show started, Owen entered the stage and started playing... I had goosebumps from the beginning until the end of the show. After a few songs Thomas joined him on stage. Both seemed to have a good time on stage, Owen announced Thomas with the words: "That's Thomas. He's an asshole, but really easy on the eye....which means he's quite good-looking." And after some songs both of them were laughing (for example after "Lewis takes action"). I took some pics and my boyfriend recored some videos... After the show Owen came back to sign some stuff and take pictures...I felt like a stalker, but I got his signature on my "heartland" booklet and a picture with him...I hope he was able to get some sleep tonight  I got the setlist: www.flickr.com/photos/groovie1/4430961521/though the encore changed.
