Loving the static fuzz, Sarpedon Ok so here's the myspace I just made for myself. Complete with artsy picture of me in Speedo's. www.myspace.com/allrushmixtapeI've been teaching myself programming and generally screwing around on Ableton, so I've only got one proper song - Bright Idea. The other one is more of an instrumental sketch. Anyway, hope you like it. Personally, I'm more proud of the band-name than the music

I set a bunch of my mom's old poems to music for her solstice present. wrote and recorded the ep over the course of about 4 days so it's very rough around the edges. www.myspace.com/emylipoltorakA couple of my friends came in and helped out though. Carl Bolon plays the violin on the last of the titans, my dad sings on metamorphosis, and my best friend ari plays the keyboard part on for you.

Neptune, I'm dancing to Bright Idea right now. yay! Glad to spread the indietronica joy I love your Sunshine, it's so... wow! and emyli, the fact that your music was a solstice present made me like it before I'd even heard it we had deeep snow on the solstice this year, which is basically unheard of in warm, moist england - made me feel properly wintry.

Hi everybody, exciting news about owen and patrick no? If we haven't jumped the gun... anyway, not sure this is the right place for this as it's not strictly musical talent I'm publicising. Basically I write things, and after having an interesting conversation with a poetess/tutor I decided it might be worth letting people read them... I write poems, fiction, other things - I've written the odd article, the odd script, nothing mind-blowing. Anyway have a read if you're interested. I've started this now and I'll be putting stuff up periodically so keep checking back if you like it! thehousebuilt.wordpress.com/

You guys still intimidate me, but...I think I might put up some recordings at some point or another. I just made a huge amount of progress on a song for a friend of mine, and although it's rough as a sandpaper it has, for the first time, moments that I'm really proud of. So far I've done this tune "for Rachael" , a wandering sort of prelude "For Kevin" , a very structured tune "For My Commodore," a song "For James" and a musing "For James." Almost all of them are somewhat unstructured or loose, either in the execution or the production part of it; it's just one lady with her tascam and myriad things, mostly piano and clarinet over synthy things. Would anyone be interested?

yes! that sounds pretty awesome.
In my first term of music theory I wrote a simple little waltz "for missy", but when she came by to hear it my mom said "Play the goddamn waltz already!" and now it's called the goddamn waltz.

I'd be interested Alyssa . I have a myspace, though I feel I'm a bit new here to be self-promoting! It's www.myspace.com/mattwinkworth - the songs are all 2-3 years old, and I've been writing/gigging again this year, so they feel *really* old. Hoping to record the new songs over the next few months, though have relatively large ambitions for orchestration (and no session orchestra, haha) - new song/orchestration demo (no vox) here... xx Update: I've just added a new song for vocal/vocoder to my myspace. It's a track called "Sea". Video here - www.youtube.com/watch?v=988bp15WHSY

I spent a good chunk of time working on a cover of Akron/Family's "woody Guthrie's America," so I'd love to share that with you guys. Now that I have a little more recording diligence, I might rerecord some of my older stuff, make it less sucky. until then, have a pretty okay cover: www.myspace.com/ledevoiretelle

Most of these recordings are kind of old and I've gotten a lot better at producing myself but they should still be enjoyable. If anyone wants and mp3 of something I'm glad to share as well. www.myspace.com/samrainer
