That's lame that they faded his performance out. Also way to not let him answer any of the questions.

I'm late to this game, but here we are. I've written lots of "pop classical" in Sibelius, my page for which is in my sig. Viewing scores requires a plug-in, sorry. Some of the better ones: regina formicarum mortua est for string ensemble ( score, mp3 (2.2 Mb)) Ticklish Spot for four-hand piano ( score, mp3 (2.8 Mb)) Setting Sail for trumpet, french horn, and piano ( score, mp3 (4.6 Mb))

Since Thomas from Final Fantasy is a member here, and since this thread was started to showcase material from the forum's very own musicians, it seems appropriate to acknowledge Thomas Gill's main project, THOMAS. This has already been posted, but for the sake of organization, I'm copying it here: www.myspace.com/isthisthomaswww.thomgill.com

Thanks for those links! I was curious to know if he had any projects of his own... I might as well post a link to my musical endeavor, it's called Eleanor Centennial and I am still working on putting a proper band together in Brooklyn, NYC. www.myspace.com/eleanorcentennialThe songs "There's always a towel" and "Mines" are my newer ones... working ona bunch of mandolin and piano centered material in the vein of Mines. I also have one looping vid on youtube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHS4rSctPK8

Jumpin On The Bandwagon www.myspace.com/renegadeoboemusicThere is mostly the stuff I compose in school, but also a couple of the folk-y, lyrically pretentious, girl-with-guitar songs I sometimes write. And what? A List of Works which a prof had me make for practice.

Holy Molly Esther! This is so Great! (I'm going to be listening to this all week, really.) I just got a hold of some of my friend's mics & junk. Soon as I start doing something productive with it, I'm making a myspace and add'n the hell out of all y'all. "what do you think will happen then?" oh brother.. -I love it all.

I know eh Richie! I went to her myspace this morning as I was getting ready for work, expecting to listen to one or two songs before heading out, and I had to stop and listen to the whole tracklist. They're really wonderful Ren! I can see why you went into music, talk about a calling.
Now it's your turn Richie, get them recordings done! Then again, I suppose I should listen to my own advice and get back to work on this album.....

Really really love 'How they felt about the balloon'and 'Internet'.
Really.
Your compositions remind me alternately of Michael Nyman and Arvo Pärt, but through the lens of what is clearly a very original style and talent.
Any chance I could get my hands on some mp3s? I promise to use them solely for personal use!

EstheRen, I'd also love Mp3s. ...Ever since you changed your avatar picture from that angry looking cartoon of you holding an oboe, I stopped being intimidated by you. I'm now both reintimidated by you and prod to be your pal. Now it's your turn Richie, get them recordings done! ;D I just got the microphones on Saturday. After discovering the funs involved in looped singing with the headphones on, I can't see when I'll ever get to serious recording.
