I think this is a matter of choice, people can go and eat their rabbit food, i personally would rather have a 711 hotdog with chili and cheese. And vegans, like holy crap, how do they do that? To me its more of a mental disease than a way of life.

I'm really in no position to state what punk is, I can only reflect what I've read and heard...and last time I checked it was about going against a norm. Wiley, you obviously have some sort of moral or health based standards...and that's dope. We've come to some sort of misunderstanding. So let me restate. I have NO, yeah check that, NO problem with killing animals. I haven't written anything to that notion, what I did say is that I have a problem with our society and how detached we have become with the process of attaining what we need to survive (clothing, meat whatever). We have no fucking clue. If you think that punk is about "doing what you want", I have a suggestion for you and Julian, fucking grow up already. Either get your mindless office job or work in your mill and smoke your brains right out and start listening to your Silverchair, because you have no clue what punk is and you have no right being associated with it. Do something different or go away!!!

alright, ive made a dick of myself and gone off on the wrong subject.
im in agreement that our society grossly overconsumes. the main problem with sweatshop labour, is related to your mention of becoming detached from the roots of our products. people think that if its over an ocean, its not their concern.
second of all, if punk is about being different, then to tell with it. i dont strive to be different. i love punk, oi, whatever, but what i dont like is people trying to be different.
mindless office job? yeah, welding, thats a mindless office job.
no right to be associated with it? what you've read? who the hell reads about punk? and who made you the regional punk authority? jesus christ. this is too much.

Let chad's judgement be revered. okay chad, check it out yesterday and today's playlist: screeching weasel - kill the musicians immortal technique - revolutionary volume 1 and 2 bad brains - banned in dc nofx - so long and thanks for all the shoes mxpx - life in general modest mouse - good news built to spill - ancient melodies of the future what i eat: yesterday, i ate hotdogs. today after school, i plan to eat hotdogs. i like veggies, i like meat. i like beef and broccoli, mothafucka. where i shop: i mostly go to value village for shirts, and i get pants for my birthday and christmas. oh yeah, i've gotten more shirts than i can remember from Ryan Dyck. when he's got a shirt that won't fit his skinny ass, he gives it 2 me! haha my future goals: tonight, i plan on having a successful band practice, including pop punk covers with bruce. it's bruce's birthday, so i hope he doesn't screw up. and i hope he likes my gifts. thats all. well, if i think WAY into the future, i hope we get to tour in the summer. how punk am i? (not as punk as bruce)

ah, meaningless sidetracking.
music: i had a chuck norris tape playing the other day
food: just had a bowl of nachos. had a sandwich for lunch. burgers and steak last night.
clothes:last thing i bought was a busta rhymes shirt that barely fits me from a thrift store. go in for a tankard or stein, and something surprises you. i rarely shop at thrift stores though. before that it was a hoody from footlocker, the creme de la creme of nike sports culture, next to well, nike town.
future goals: i figure ill end up drinking for a few monthes, but then it'll even out and ill take the trades courses im planning to.
now if that isnt punk im going to get a noose and hang myself. ive worked too hard for this.

Recent playlist includes: (but never limited to... all of my "recent playlists" are a horrible representation of everything I listen to) Go It Alone - Vancouver Gold & Demo In Stride - Demo 2004 (I liked it a fair bit when I got it a couple of months ago, but I've been really digging it lately man) Casey Jones - The Few, The Proud, The Crucial Blue Monday - What's Done Is Done Hiretsukan - invasive//exotic Killing the Dream - Self-Titled MCD godspeed you! black emperor - lift your skinny fists like antennas to heaven - Disc 1
Yeah, I think that's about it. I just fixed my computer speakers with this weird wiring job, so they work again, and I have great sounding speakers again. So, I'm super happy. I usually just pick out what I want to listen to occasionally on my massive list on Winamp, and often I just leave it on and don't make a decision. bleck. I've listened to a lot of hardcore in the past two days (as the list shows), I suppose it's a bit of backlash after not listening to any for a long time, to try and off set the mass amount I had on my list in the first place... haha. Sad. eek.
I eat whatever the fuck I can get my hands on that is decent food. I've got a bit of a genetic condition where I have an incredibly high number of tastebuds and as a result, I basically hate vegetables and usually gag when I eat them. I learned about it in English one day, and then did research on it and I fit the description of a "super taster" (sounds incredibly cheesy) perfectly. I do however wish I was at least vegetarian, ideally vegan.
I shop at... I don't remember the last time I went shopping for something for me. I don't usually shop for clothes. I buy all of my t-shirts hand to hand from bands, or online from a label like G7 Welcoming Committee. I have one pair of pants, and one pair of pants that I bought specifically to turn into shorts, and that's all I need. *shrug*
My future goals are (as always) somehow related to the above. I'm in a transition stage in my life, and I haven't to know exactly what I want to do with my life. For a career (once I graduate high school), I'm planning on becoming an electrician. As I mentioned, ideally, I want to play in a band, but I've had a horrible string of luck with so much squandered potential. It sucks, but I guess I'll work something out sometime... someday!
Yeah, I don't care too much about whether or not I'm punk, but, you know.
Also, being that I'm opposed to all forms of violence, it only seems logical not to kill another living nervous/conscious creature to survive, particularly if I don't have to in order to survive.
Edit: Story... once when I was 7 years old (my parents... or rather, my parents would buy them, and I would take care of them, used to raise beef cattle organically, and cruelty free. It made for an amazing meat, as far as meat goes) one of the cows decided to chase me around the field. I hopped over the fence and made it to safety, but was a scared little boy. yep!
