Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that Owen sounds like he has a lisp when doing "Arctic Circle" live? I swear he said "shieldth up, bar the door and keep your duketh up" in two of the live '06 recordings I have, but not in the '07 one, nor in the studio version....
I really do need more to occupy my mind with.

I haven't heard these songs, and I was too drunk when I saw him live to remember if he had a lisp OHH jessi, this all reminds me of a horribly fantastic movie that you simply NEED to watch. (Although given taste seems quite good on this board so I wont put it past any of you)
Anywho, go out there and either see/rent/download/steal a copy of the movie "All about lily chou chou" NOT the band who copied the same name, I really think you'll appreciate it, the story is fantastic, the direction is breathtaking, the movie is morbid, the actors are fantastic and it has a lot of Debaussy and Chopin which I think you'll appreciate.

Would you believe I didn't sleep because of a Computer homework/project I have to finish? Plus, I have to shave so bad. Beard at 15 years old is not so good.
I started to play D&D! It's really fun. I'm still a level 1 Sorcerer but I have really great stats for a level 1.

Would you believe I didn't sleep because of a Computer homework/project I have to finish? Two nights in a row I didn't get any sleep. Plus, I have to shave so bad. Beard at 15 is not so good. I hope you get it over and done with soon And GAAAHHHH THIS BUS IS GOING TO KILL ME!1!!!! The monkey that is the driver is ACTUALLY stalling on a freeway!! To make matters worse is that im surrounded by really jaded old peoplle who keep looking at me with suspicion and fear, sweeeeet! But it's got to a level where I went for my pocket to get my Ipod and the ugly little haggard creature across the table started shouting at the man screaming "HE'S TRYING TO STEA-...oh" when she saw me with raised eyebrow pulling out my Ipod. D&D, like world of warcraft absolutely terrify me. I remember when I was 16/17 and I downloaded the demo of WOW and I remember playing it for... something insane like 12 hours straight... I also remember when it got serious when mum called me down to the dining room and when I went to leave I swear to god it was as though there was an invisable tether attaching my wrist to the mouse so that's when I got scared and went off the internet for TWO WHOLE WEEKS!1!1!!!! Bad times... bad times... Also jessi, don't you think it's charming that owen has a sort of lisp? Because in some of his songs they have that ultra-cool grainy old fashioned altered vocals which I find incredibly endearing and awesome... |

Oh yeah, the lispy thing is totally charming  It's just amusing that it's only that line. "Shieldth up, shieldth up, bar the door and keep your duketh up." But then the diggory lies bit has no lithp! Lithp. The only game I play is, er, Dofus. Haha. I played Zelda when I was like 9, but all i ever did was run around finding rupees (I think that's what the currency is called?) to buy stuff at the store which i could actually find in the forest for free anyway. Yeeeesh. Do you look like someone who would steal, or something? And I'm curious, what are you even on the internet on while you're on the bus? A laptop, or a hiptop thingy? |

Look at my avitar, do I look like the kind of person who would do anything devious? I use my sidekick which is a hiptop, it's slower than a retard trying to work pi at 56 decimal places, but it gets the job done. In other words NO I look like a perfectly normal human being, it's just some people are far too jaded and mistrusting which really depresses me. I just look a bit scruffy/runtish I guess, blergh! But meh, I wont let that hag get to me she was ugly outside and it was a trueeee reflection of whats inside that creased leathery hyde of hers, bitch! and if I want anything I go and buy it like normal people thankyouverymuch! (except some music, but at least I'm honest) I was just glad to run off the bus and get some soup and be alive by the end of it what did you get up today? I need to locate this owen lisping video, I want this charm in 3-d multicolour with those really rad 3-d spex that make you look like a tard... is it on youtube under some really shocking title like "owen lisps live"? it sounds enticing |

I really do need more to occupy my mind with. hmmmnnn... well, it's actually written with the 'lithpth' exactly like that in the lyrics for the album sooo.... i've never noticed him to have an actual one when he speaks. it would certainly show up in 'honour the dead or else' anyways, don't ya think? i'm always a bit paranoid of my "ssssss's" myself. /shrugs now my husband is yelling from the other room that there are "lists of things for me to do!!!" so i'd best run, run away!! oh. they include drawing a portrait of someone tonite. i can live with that.  /runs back |

Aww Boodeedeedoo  People suck. At least you got soup at the end! I remember once, when I was working as a salesgirl for a shop, I was always the one the staff put out the front to smile and greet customers. I had to hover near these new beaded jewellery boxes they just brought in, and this old man came in and laughed at me for like a minute and said "Poor kids in China had to make those boxes, and now you're selling them!" (because I'm Chinese, although I can't speak a word of it). It was really effing rude. Ohh I would love to check out a live lispy video! Unfortunately my youtube is still blocked. I was listening to the Vancouver Sept 19 06 show, it's a really good recording and you can hear the thhhh's in full clarity I totally didn't realise the lithp was actually put in the lyrics! I never really read them in the booklet. That's awesome |
