You know what would pleasantly surprise everyone? Some Chopin at the San Francisco show. By pleasantly surprise I mean astound and fill with joy of course.
If you want a more standard request, I'd be fairly ecstatic if Spell for a Weak Heart was played...

I am so psyched for the show in St. John's, Newfoundland in february! I got even more stoked when I found out this thread was still going on.
SOOOOOO... here's comes my ideal set list (excluding all the songs I'll undoubtedly love on Heartland, of course): This is the Dream of Win and Regine Your Light is Spent (I'll have the book!) CN Tower Adventure.exe I'm Afriad of Japan Furniture Song Song Song Many Lives This Lamb Sells Condos Horsetail Feathers Ultimatum Nun or a Bawd Ballad of No Face The Butcher (I'll have the socks!) Blue Imelda Jars of Lars Hey Dad!
AHHHHHHH I'm sure I'll be disgustingly ecstatic no matter what is played. I'm so glad he/they are finally coming.
WOOO

If this is still on for the 2010 tour...could we hear Furniture in Paris? I don't know where I could get cupcakes, but I can bring you a box of chocolates =) ? Or macarons? Since it's in France, even if cupcakes are becoming "in" you can't really find them everywhere XD. I would say Song song song too, but then I'm gonna ask for the whole He Poos Clouds album XD (though I would love to hear He Poos Clouds, This Lamb Sells Condos and Many Lives because I like playing them and I'd like to see how you play them live). But Song Song Song is amazing, I'd love to see it live.

So it seems that all I've contributed to this message board are direct posts for Owen (How selfish! Where's the sense of community in that?) but that's only because message boards terrify me. I read them, I swear, I just figure my input is worthless and just keep to myself.
But anyway, I've never heard a live version of If I Were a Carp. Is it ever done? Chicago on January 16th I'm sure would love to hear it.

Though it wasn't in the price list, I'd be happy to hand over a copy of my favourite work of fiction to hear WDYTWHN or Cliquot at the Union Chapel gig in London this month. A copy of my second favourite novel too if I get to hear both (but I best warn you, one of them is pretty big!). Oh, and I'll throw in my favourite collection of short stories for Lewis' Dream, too! ;D

I feel sick posted a fairly ideal setlist for the St. John's, NL show, but there are a few others I'd like to add.
You Will Never See A Penny (if you opened with this I'd melt) The Arctic Circle Lewis Takes Action Lewis Takes off his Shirt Many Lives → 49 MP A Bach piece of your choosing
I'm so stoked for this show.

I'm going to the 1/18 show at the Bowery Ballroom, any chance you could play Peach Plum Pear? Bribes can be arranged.

Dearest Owen, I'd be enchanted to hear the following songs played tonight in Hamburg:
Midnight Directives Keep The Dog Quiet E Is For Estranged Flare Gun Blue Imelda The Ballad Of No-Face Moodring Band Crush-Love-Crush He Poos Clouds I'm Afraid Of Japan Many Lives -> 49MP The Arctic Circle The CN Tower Belongs To The Dead Took You Two Years To Win My Heart Adventure.exe An Arrow In The Side Of Final Fantasy Spell For A Weak Heart The Miner Becomes Forgetful Jars Of Lars Cliquot
Unfortunately I cannot wish for The Pooka Sings due to an unexpected shortage of large carafes in my friend's household here in Hamburg…
Dankeschön!
