hey everyone, i was on final fantasy's last.fm and their is a show listed for february 17th at the centre for performing arts in vancouver. i looked around on the forum and couldn't find anything so i'm just wondering if this is for real? and if it is, is owen maybe going to come back to edmonton around then? we miss you!

FF and GB should not be allowed to play at different venues on the same continent on the same date.   I'd hate to make a decison, but then again I know where I would end up. Note to the owen of this forum - Check with the guys when you come back to europe, better still bring them along for the ride. Okay I know I'm being unrealistic but I can ask. |

well, i'm definitely going to GB cause they're unbelievable & when will i see them again?? but i'm hopefully optimistic that i can dodge around the city & make it to both shows!!??!!! & ff is coming back here in march too (god! yes! we're totally getting spoiled here, i know!!) For anyone else in vancouver, the tix to ff for the benefit are FREEEEE!!!! i was kinda 1/2 blinded w/tears when i 1st checked out the link & didn't get it right away.... so YAY!!!  |

I think it's reasonable to assume the free tix are going to be somewhere further back/higher up. I bought tickets the other day and got something pretty close to the front. Btw, does anyone else *hate* the Centre? There's something about the angle of the balcony, the way the seating's raked or something, that is hard on the eyes & neck--you find yourself staring at a blank wall rather than naturally looking down at the stage. Maybe it's just me.... Catharine |

yah, you're probably right about the seating but honestly, i think i give enough $$ to the evil Ticket-call-me-Master as it is & thank god most of the shows i go to aren't sold through them anyways. if i was positive i was going i'd probably shell out the extra bucks for good seats too (ff is soooo worth it!!!) but i think i'm gonna have to give my tix away  *cries* apparently the free tix are "limited" (duh!) so i'll definitely post it if i can't use mine. |

from what i can tell from the 1 or 2 times ive been at the Centre, it had awful acoustics
i dont remember if the free tickets were gone when i went to sign up, i think i might just be in the draw so i better get on getting tickets soon
