aha, the scala has been won over by our youthful charms/Owen's helpful meddling. but wait. Koko's not over 18, is it? ugh, fear rises anew. they'd better not take my Patrick Wolf gig from me...

I'm also disappointed with the lack of Midland date, so I'm travelling down to London to see him. I can't wait.

ah sorry about the confusion.. was getting mixed up with the patrick wolf gig.. cos i bought tickets for that when the website said it WASNT over 18.. aaargh.. thats why im cautious to buy a FF ticket.. i really want one though the same thing happened to me, i only realised yesterday. i frantically messaged the official myspace profile, as if that's going to do anything. i just figured after all my stellar failure with the Scala that it's better to contact the artists' people than the venue. get one for the FF gig at the Scala, though, as long as you're over sixteen. i have (yay).

contacting the artists people is quite useless cos its not whether they mind having under 18s there.. its insurance.. but im being slightly hyprocritical cos im currently finding out whether knowing the event organiser and being on the guest list ( not FF ) allows u to skip the bouncer and age checking

doesn't usually. bouncers take that as a blag. your mileage may vary. :/

alice! Please do tell me if the whole paid-guest-list thing works, won't you? I've been hesitant to try that with the Koko unless that REALLY pricks up their ears about under-18s coming in, but it worked with the Luminaire...

booked tickets for Leeds; I'll have to sleep in the train station that night but it will be worth it.
Next task: Hidden Cameras tickets!

It's a shame, but it's not always possible to get a venue on the right day, at the right price. I know that the midlands has been considered, but it was not possible this time.
The best thing is to get to one of the other UK dates
