dude, your site looks like trash. please edit it to just be a blank white page with links and maybe ill visit it again. it looks like some 15 year old's myspace. i think i had an epileptic seizure when i saw it. hahaah ;D very true! it also looks cheap, which is what i was aiming for...or at least i really didn't want to spend any time making it look spiffy, it took about a minute to create the account and three to throw those pix up...not sure why, but i really didn't want to leave it just blank or a generic multiply theme, but at the same time i did not want to make it a big deal...there's no other content on there besides that one page, really it was just meant for new Xiu fans that need the rare shit, so i dont think you really need to visit it again, i'm sure you have everything on there, but i'm not sure how it can be hard on the eyes, seeing how there's nothing flashing or extreme bright colors? if you mean 'cause it's wide and you have to scroll to the right to get to the download linx then all i can say is....LAZY CUNT!  |

When I first heard this I felt like the vocals were mixed kind of...off? I don't know if that makes sense. It may have just been from the stream. But it's definitely growing on me. I like it when a band makes me have to rethink how to receive their music...of course I was hoping for something more intense and less beepy but I have a feeling this song in context with the rest of the album will turn out working really well. The song has so many different dynamics and things going on--it's very interesting and I love how Xiu Xiu is always reinterpreting the concept of a "song" by fucking with the boring verse bridge chorus structure. And as always...lyrically...amazing amazing amazing. Most bands write about missing someone's flowing hair...but waiting for someone insanely to bind their limbs? Awesome. Jamie needs to go ahead and write a book.
