It definitely does not sound like xiu xiu. I mean, there are elements and all. But...... I guess I'm in the minority on this one.

okay so i found it. i liked alot of the parts of it. i think that jamie's vocals are really cool. they're pretty different, a whole lot less, like, dramatic, or something. but the way he has been using a faster pacing (like on yoyo bye bye) is kind of a departure from what people are used to, is something i really like. all of the instrumentation is really cool. like how it kind of builds up and escalates and such. i always really like it when caralee's vocals are used as a background/almost ambient/instrumental thing. like in the newer xxl album. i like it all alot. okay.

this is kind of funny because what if like, for air force or la foret they had only released something like wig master as the only first track, or dangerous you should be here. would you all think that album was going to be trash before you heard it in full?

Whoa yesss, just heard it for the first time. Free jazzy. The instrumentation is cool its like you can feel several personalities cooperating, it feels more like you are listening to a band than a solo project. I liked that bass jam on yoyo too its really sharp like it finds its way out of the noise. It is kind of surprising but amazing too. Super excited for this album. I love how there are always surprises.
