when they played at SXSW they closed with a cover of "asleep" by the smiths, you can find my video of it on google videos i believe

i recorded the show, just a g&e little cassette thing with a shitty old little microphone i use sometimes. i'm going to make one long mp3 out of that like... nowish, so if anyone wants that you can aol instant message me (crateofrecords). the sound quality is so-so (b-minus), but it's still cool to hear how different everything sounded with live drums. many songs are markedly slower. also, during "fast car" he tells this dude that was talking way loud to shut up. it's really funny. think of the "thanks for throwing a cigarette at me, fucking asshole" recording from the solo show jamie stewart did in austin that floats around. POINT IS: if you want that it'll probably be ready by the time anyone asks for it. yeah

Tonight's show was incredible. Too bad that the set was EXACTLY the same as the one for OK. Hopefully they'll change it up for Friday's show.
