Have you seen Suicide Club...directed by Sion Sono? If you like Ichi the killer you'll like that movie also. Sion Sono is also famous in Japan for directing gay porn. I always get him mixed up with Matmos, who coincidentally are not famous in America and do music for Bjork and gay porn by plucking rat cages.

i liked suicide club... i want a dessart t-shirt
just went to hollywood video to pick up a used copy of brokeback (i need it for class on friday, but i figured "i'm gay; i should own this"), and they had a used copy of sympathy for mr. vengeance... not as good as oldboy, but pretty fascinating

after seeing oldboy (greatest. movie. ever. ... well, at least in the last few years), i decided i needed to see mr vengeance first, which i just saw last week (and picked up again tonight)... if it's in l.a. i might go check it out this weekend

Matmos are two people, they've got a following in America (their 100 seat show at the whitney sold out and became a 500 person, very crowded show, and they have a song made out of a rat cage and have scored gay porn but not made a gay porn song from a rat cage, although your concept is funny. |

audition is fucked up, i abosltely love all japanese horror because they truely hold no limits to themselves. where/what do you teach strangelove (whats your real name again?) ? i'm in california (OC at the moment, but i'm transferring to los angeles in a month), and i teach ESL (english as a second language) to adults. every friday, i teach a pop culture class to advanced students, and this friday we're going to be going through a bunch of american regional dialects... i've done far too much prep for this lesson, but i find it fascinating and my real name is strangelove... my parents are fucked up people ;-) |

Lady Vengeance is incredible and Mr Vengeance is awesom too. I really liked Joint Security Area and also Chan Wook Parks part of Three...Extremes. The new one in production about a girl that believes she is a cyborg will be awesome too. |
