IS this to assume that the bulk of Xiu Xiu's fan base is gay? Are they going to be lumped into the "gay band" genre like scissor sisters (who also put on a kick ass show)

i don't think most xiu fans are gay, but we are well represented... but there's a major difference between a band like xiu xiu, who deal with intense (and sometimes gay) themes and scissor sisters, who are a mix of elton john and gay-diva-disco...
