I hope you have others on your list. Be nice to catch up. Yes, it would be good to see you! I’m in Hamburg for 3 nights for the Elbphilharmonie and then flying to London, so it makes more sense to add on the Belgian/French shows to that trip since they’re longer sets/more exciting places… but I maaaay still try and do Manchester! You should come to Glasgow, it’s a Saturday!

Heya! New here. The Elbphilharmonie show is more expensive than all the other shows in the tour, is there something special about it?

Heya! New here. The Elbphilharmonie show is more expensive than all the other shows in the tour, is there something special about it? It's an amazing concert hall, so it likely costs a lot more to hire! I saw Owen play the main hall there as part of a festival in 2017 (this time it'll be the smaller hall) and it was the most incredible venue I've ever been to. One of my dad's rich clients was very impressed I'd been there It's right on the water, designed to look like a wave and I remember Owen said it was like the moon inside, which is the best description I can think of. If you google it you can see what it looks like. They let people go up to the plaza for free and there's a 360 degree viewing platform right round the building. It was designed to have amazing acoustics, and apparently they went massively over budget and it got delayed for years, but it eventually opened not long before Owen played there. I think for the first couple of years it was just about impossible to get tickets for the regular shows.
