There were a handful of other shows on the dock besides Paris and Hamburg, but COVID had all of us going "uh guys is this even happening? what", so we were dithering about announcing and so forth, and so we just shelved it. I'm frankly super-bummed out about it but it's a good decision. Wise decision.. it’s better than the constant rescheduling. I’ve got tickets to shows that have been bumped multiple times now.

So have I, it must be a tough time for everyone planning shows! I was a bit worried about booking travel abroad - I wasn't sure whether to risk booking flights early while they were cheap or wait til nearer the time when they might get expensive. But I suspected there might be more shows to come and luckily decided to hold off, I just booked lots of free cancellation hotels to keep my options open! It's a shame, but definitely a sensible decision!

I appreciate your patience! The last couple times the shows have been booked I've been gung-ho about prepping for them and everything, it's been such an awful thing when they've been kiboshed

I was able to see you three times between 2009-2010, which is far too long ago. Attached is a photo I took when you played at Fingerprints in Long Beach. Thought I'd share! Attachments:

I poke my head in still, and am happy to see new posts on this little corner of the Internet every time. New songs is intriguing!!
EDIT: Taking this opportunity to say In Conflict turns 10 about a month from now, how time flies!

There will be a number of EU shows in November, so don’t stress if you can’t get a ticket for the Elb.
I set aside much of my time this year to “write new sets” with “an album’s worth of new songs on them” and they’ve been coming together well. I added a micro modular synth object (the Empress Zoia) to my looping rig and suddenly there’s synth drums and organs and Solina strings and swarmatron. It’s been an extremely productive spring! I’m playing songs I haven’t played in over a decade, and a bunch of completely crazy new things too

Ohhh exciting!!! Can't wait to hear it I'm hopeful I'll be able to get an Elb ticket - it looks like around 2/3 are gone but they haven't been disappearing too fast over the past few weeks and there's only 6 days to go now. The gig has also been listed on Eventim so maybe some of the unavailable seats were held back and didn't really all get bought by subscribers in the first 2 days! I found some of the other shows listed on the Puschen site (I'm not sure if it's all of them or if there's more to come) - hopefully I'll manage a few! At the moment I don't even know if I'll still have a job in November (the joys of being a postdoc!) but I wouldn't miss the Elb for anything, so I'll probably just have to book and hope it all works out! I love that place so much and it's got to be my most anticipated gig of all time with all the times it was cancelled and uncancelled - I felt like it was too good to be true! Hopefully I can manage to add Amsterdam and Bruges onto the same trip, but I'll wait til I know where all the shows are (and actually have a ticket for the Elb!) before booking travel. I'm very excited to hear you're writing new songs and playing more shows anyway!

I got an Elb ticket!!!! And not just any ticket, but my 2020 seat in the front row, which was miraculously still available

While there is no Coventry show in the offing (apologies) please be assured that there is some stuff coming that will ensure you’ll be sleeping in your own bed after the fact

Over the moon to see that you're coming back to Stockholm, Owen! (Thanks, Cat for the heads up!) I know tickets aren't released yet, but the wife and I have already blocked out our calendars and requested time off work for the show. I have my fingers crossed you'll be in Hörsalen again, getting to sit down for the duration of the gig was a blessing on my old knees.
Cannot wait to hear the new songs and new things you're doing. ...and I'll bring cash for merch this time.

I've never managed to sleep in my own bed after seeing you before

Yeah, we're just getting some final details worked out. There's one city, I don't think I've played there since 2006? But I don't want to make any announcements until all the ticket links are live. It's not til November anyway! What's the rush? lol

Haha fair enough! I was worried about flight prices going up so I just booked my flights for Hamburg - Andrew Bird is now playing a one off London show on the 19th Nov so that seemed as good a reason as any to fly back then! The venue in Amsterdam looks gorgeous so I'm disappointed not to be doing that one, but it sounds like the shows still to be announced will be easier to get to!
