in regards to the Edmonton show:

as far as I know, it's at the Victory Lounge, which is -under- Starlite. My tickets all say Victory Lounge, Chris and Brianna both say Victory Lounge, and the new posters say Victory Lounge, too.

where exactly on that website did you find this list? the booking agent's website doesn't have any of these, and the official xiu xiu page has the same dates as the booking agent...

are you sure those dates aren't for another band?

Yeah, I was just about to post a thread about this. I live in louisville KY and was wondering if that show on there is accurate. if anyone can confirm these dates, please help me out.

well, according to the booking agent for the european tour, xiu xiu begin their euro tour on october the 22nd in barcelona, and according to that list, they'll be playing in Denver, CO on the same day

i looked up one of the shows i was telling my friend about (the one in des moines)
and the venues site says nothing about xiu xiu on that date
they instead have frankenixon opening
which while talented and enjoyable, is not xiu xiu.

I just had this confirmed by XX's booking agent. All shows on that list are completely wrong and are NOT featuring the band. 'Tis a sad day in XiuXiuville.

yeah, the bottom of the hill was beautiful. i started the show in tears because my gdamn parents were text-messaging me to get the hell home. ."oh it's late. ., ,. blah it's a work night.. " xiu xiu hadn't even started and my throat hurt from holding back the tears. as much of a loser as i sound like, the show was great, magical. . and i will always risk a "whippin" from the parents to see ya'll!

these are dates from a 2004 tour.. for some reason, this thread, as well another old thread, came back up to the front...
