Hey Guys I put up a small amount of the pictures up at members.cox.net/funesean/xiuxiu.html. I am about finished with the recording just making sure everything is correct and that i have named all the files correctly. Anyone know of a place that will host the MP3's for me? The place that is hosting the pictures wont cut it for the size and bandwith needed for the mp3s. -Thanks Sean EDIT: anyone know whaty i should call the new songs. I saw on the borad someone said the "why ask" song on the auto harp was called bog people. Anyone have any idea baout the title of the other song that repeats "shut up"??

those were great pictures, sean... especially since i was an idiot and didn't bring my camera to that show.
i had wondered about the shut up song as well, and the one with the pipes. i guess if all else fails, you could try to contact the band directly.

I was in Blackbyrd yesterday and their board says the show is at the Victory Lounge and not Starlite (which is whats listed here), but on the same day.
I think Chris who works at Blackbyrd does the booking for both Victory Lounge and Starlite, maybe stop by and ask someone.

bottom of the hill show was beautiful Yeah, I was there. I asked Jamie and Caralee to sign my poster, although I felt a bit embarrassed about doing so, like I was some lame fanboy or something. But they were both really nice about it. That Caralee...What a cutie.

hi touring fans (bay area'rs and anyone else) we have some posters left that we made for jamie and company for his bay area shows. We sold them at the Campbell Gaslighter show and the bottom of the hill show in san francisco with permission from the band. (I'm an old friend of jamie's, so it was really a gift for his friendship) If you got one, consider yourself lucky...limited printing of these. It's something I hope to do more of in the future. Ebay! If anyone wants to buy these individually or all 3, contact me: k@dotter.tk , I have to figure out postage and what would make sense, but I really just want to get this out to the fans, so ch(eep) ch(eep)! They are very nondescript, so worth hanging on a wall (or in your bathroom if you get the theme) there's 3 different posters, we found used stuffed animals for each touring band: a cardinal in a medicine cabinet (says xiu xiu in the bottom right corner) this crazy stuffed animal orange kangaroo in a decrepit bathroom stall with keyboard (says casiotone for the painfully alone on the bottom) a blank staring blue bear in a sea of women's products against blue bathroom tile (says tara jane o'neil in the top left corner) thanks jamie for the wonderful show, I'm debating on whether or not to fly up to portland for the festival in the next few weeks. Wish I could.
