Looks like the Hamburg concert got cancelled: From here.  I spent all day worrying my flights were going to be cancelled and was totally willing to risk getting ill or stranded! I hope he'll be back again soon once all this is over! I anticipated that the Elb show would be cancelled, but Elb's public statement was in fact the first I'd heard of it. I'm disappointed, the show was sold out and I had built a brand new set for it with new projections and everything, but I'll be back in the future when all this viral anxiety has settled down.

Yeah, I'm also really sad it had to be cancelled, though it's really not surprising. The situation here is getting worse by the hour- schools are closed from Monday to at least 19.April, basically all events are getting cancelled (regardless of size), lots of smaller activities are getting cancelled too (like choir practise  ), you can't visit people in nursing homes, some cities have cancelled church services, our chancellor has said to avoid any unnecessary social contact... it's honestly getting scary. I'm watching how all life gets shut down. Anyway, I really hope we can get a new concert as soon as it's safe again! |

(EDIT to add: it's a very interesting time to work for a health department in the US, and witness those system failures / justifications in action up close. my employer, a state office, currently holds the policy: "we are opting not to test people, because on the books no one has it, because we aren't testing anyone." it genuinely is as bullshit as it sounds. local community will truly do more for your safety than government, always.) |

My wife and I are bummed that many shows and concerts we were looking forward to have been cancelled, but it's better that than get sick or continue to infect others.
