I know what you mean about keeping bands to yourself. Well ... wanting to. It's cool to be able to go see them in little intimate gigs, and not have to rush to buy tickets, etc etc. I went to see a band i like recently and i'm in an arena looking at dots on a stage and it's juts no fun. Conversely i went to see a guy i hardly knew just shortly before that in a really small vernue in Stoke, and loved it. So yeah, it's good. But i also love it when people say "do you know who this song is by?" and i say "why yes of course! Here, have some further listening!" I tend to find myself sending a lot of Final Fantasy tracks to people, annnnd my radio show is good for ensuring airplay I think i'd just like for everyone to know, and the world to be full of small venues. Of course then Owen would literally do nothing but perform, but i'm prepared to make that sacrifice I second that completely! Actually I talk a lot about the music I'm listening to. No matter if the person in front of me has any idea what I'm talking about or not. It's just the love for something I want to share that I feel is very special. It's natural people talk about the things they get excited about and personally, when my love has hit a specific level, I would explode if I wouldn't tell someone and make them try and see what I see ;D Is that selfish? So what...! If a very dear friend of mine wouldn't have kept mentioning Owen I'd have never had a listen. Small venues are a lot more intimate. My fav club counts not more than 250 people. The gigs are indeed very special, the atmosphere is wonderful because people actually go because of the band and not due to mtv referring to them as "THE new thing from... "! One can see the delight in peoples faces and eyes. It's this very love that simply has to be shared! xxx ariane

I'm the same way. It's kind of bad because I always wish that I had a friend that liked all the same music as me, but then I feel like I want to keep the bands I like all to myself. I kinda just don't tell anyone about them, and if someone finds out and asks me, then I'll tell. But yeah, it does make me feel selfish but I can't really help it, I don't know why. You are FIRED from the street team!!! There's no street team till there are FREE STICKERS. (That's what it's all about. Spreading the joy with music? Pah.)

I've got some, I though everyone had them I stick one in every record store I visit. If you want one then try HMV in Birmingham or Manchester, but you may have problems getting them of the walls.

You get a free sticker with the He Poos Clouds CD. That silver sticker on the outside of the plastic shrinkwrap - a hairdrier gets that little bastard free. And if you buy the 12" you get an even bigger sticker!!! You can't ask for more than that.

That's because you have MOST exclusive promotional shiny-new things related to FF. I'm going to hazard that guess anyhow...

I'll totally be on the street team if I get free stickers! Especially if they're cool, like that one.
